The Immortal’s Of Meluha : Book Review

Immortal’s of Melluha, the part 1 of the Shiva Triology, perfectly binds the mythological characters with fiction and thus portrays it in a very refreshing manner. The author deserves the due credit for coming up with such a unique creative story and plot. Each character unfolds as the book proceeds thus revealing the nature of each of the character in a subtle manner.

The story is pretty consistent throughout though at times you tend to loose on the strong grip of the characters. The language is very easy to be understood by anyone since the target audience is the general English reading Indians. Shiva has been portrayed as a fictitious being and not as everybody would know but more like one can imagine how he can be.

If one really wants how or what Shiva is like, one can try to read the Shiva Purana and not get stuck into such form of portrayals. Overall, the book is a good read if you are into mythology and fiction kind of a genre.
