Aviation as a field since its inception has been a very exciting and thrilling domain which has seen its own ups and downs.
With the high operation costs and very low profit margins by the airlines, new strategies have always been developed to extract profits with safety in mind which makes Airline operations and aviation one of the most complexly run and implemented business models. One of the most sensitive industries considering the market, environmental and geographical forces, aviation continues its struggle in this world order.
With the number of flight accidents in the past few years esp with that of the Boeing aircraft, Aviation did faced some severe challenges. But millions of people do fly rather they need to from point A to B for various reasons which has kept the doors for new models, technologies and strategies open to be implemented.
One such successful model is of Indigo in India which is a budget airline company making its mark with its affordable flights and good customer service.
Coming back to the present ‘Coronavirus’ era, the aviation industry is on a downfall since the world nations have literally banned international travel to avoid the further mess being caused by the disease. This if continues for long will mean clear cut bankrupt airline business. In fact, a lot many airlines are on the verge of getting bankrupt as of today and thus the Governments will have to step in to help them to get back on track. But this is a very very tough situation to be handled since the aviation as an industry does not only include airlines but also the airports and along with it the numerous departments which work for a smooth 24/7 365 days operation of the workings on the line.
One more aspect of this chaotic scenario is that, even if we get out of this situation soon, the fear of travel especially to the counties where the spread of the disease is high is going to continue for a certain period of time until a complete solution is being demonstrated.
But still we all have to pray that the things get back to normal so that all the people who directly or indirectly are working for the aviation industry continue to serve and the industry flourishes again.
