as the glaciers are melting
many species of birds & animals
are on the verge of being extinct

The progress of our kind
has swept away the planet’s wonders
there won’t be anything left
to show to our grandchildren

So much ego still
making us weak to think
the clock is ticking
as the time to act is slipping

someday get along
to solve the problems
