It was a cold night
as we hugged tight
the children sang
a Christmas song

The snow glimmered
as we all shivered
in the cozy room
of a skiing resort

Early in the morning
the sun blended
with the thick white color
of our surroundings

The ride to the top
was through the cable car
the distant mountains 
appeared so tall

We began our skiing
as the sticks pushed back
everyone enjoyed 
a little holiday in paradise!
