We are lost
in this vast cosmos
just striving to survive
fearing the unknown
Our ideas vague
but have powered
the ultimate voyages
into the deep oceans
& the emptiness of space
We fight, cry & demolish
love becomes a tendency
which surfaces for a while
We try to control & fix
things far beyond our control
we as a species are ambitious
but timid at the same time
A handful are there
who show us the light
but their efforts go in vain
cause of our egoistic minds
We trust logic so much
that we cannot witness
what lies beyond these lines
our hearts constantly speak
to show us the path
of true joy & containment!
