Political science is an interdisciplinary field that studies political systems, including their social and economic institutions and dynamics, in both advanced and developing societies.
Political science studies the way that institutions influence and the way people organize themselves to produce politically influenced outcomes. While many academic disciplines have produced rigorous research about political processes and institutions, political science or political understanding has received very limited attention in the popular media and all they project is the mixture of ideologies and propaganda.
As a result, few people have an understanding of the fundamental nature of political science and its basic evolution. And there is no systematic effort to understand and analyze how political power and political institutions interact to produce outcomes.
Political science is essential for understanding how states, parties, and individuals are able to achieve outcomes through a process that is difficult to describe in other disciplines.
