The Old Streets of London – A Poem

The old streets of London
narrow and breezy
I sat in a cafe,
besides the
Westminster Abbey

All wearing coats
the professionals
rushed towards,
the edifices alongside
the Thames shores

The cold gloomy weather
felt so peculiar to the scene
the beauty of this city
so much embedded in its
stylish Victorian architecture!
