The flight began on final,
as welcomed by
so many skyscrapers
Landed into the city
the cold felt very quickly
The yellow cab as I boarded
traffic was lined up ahead
Manhattan so gorgeous
the Christmas lights
flickering all around
The city has a different charm
perfectly as shown in the movies
Eateries and foodies
enjoying in the bakeries
Cafes rushed with
caffeine addicts
The smoke from the underground
covered the background
as I walked down
into the central park
The Brooklyn bridge
had a view of the city
glittering it seemed
just stayed there for a while
The museums, the art galleries
so much there to see & wander around
The gardens filled with variety
yes it was my short tour
to this beautiful New York City!
